BTOpenworld are WORSE than bad, trust me I use em :) Avoid at all costs.

Yeah I'm looking at Claranet for when I switch in 8 months :) Zen & Nildram
both have very good reputations.

Ahem, translucent proxies :) We have 3 now. Well ok, 1 translucent and 2
opaque :)
It was funny, last Saturday morning news broke that the TP had been disabled
and browsing was flying along. Not long after we all said it had gone back
to how it was. BTO were questioned on the Monday morning and it turns out
the TP was disabled for approx 5 minutes on Saturday as there was a fault
which they thought was related to it. Yet in that time half the forum users
spotted it was off. Sad really, shows how shite it is, but as its beneficial
for customers and they have so few complaints (as no-one knows its even
there), they refuse to do anything about it.
As for the mailserver, so long as you don't mind a mail from one BTO user to
another taking in the region of 19 hours, external mail taking close to 36
hours and not to mention all the ones that never even arrive, then you'll be
quite happy. ;)

And as it stands have to pay £150 install and be retested should you choose
to switch after the contract expires.
